Automatic Pool Covers may constitute an acceptable barrier.

We advise that you discuss a possible exemption with your local authority if you are planning to instal an automatic pool cover.
They will require that the rest of the property complies with the new rules.

If an exemption is denied you may consider applying to MBIE for a determination.
